1.The Dress
Short, long, strapless, or sheath, the dress has returned for a repeat performance as the season’s most romantic and wearable piece. Whether your date is a walk in the park or dinner for two, the flexibility of the dress ensures it as your garment of choice. Thanks to the range of flattering designs available, beauty can easily be achieved. Current trends to embrace: the surplice-style wrap dress, belted bodices, and shift dresses.

2.The Shoes
Open-toe is stealing the show when it comes to spring and summer style. But for fall and winter, nothing beats a boot. Knee-high boots make a statement, and sweet ankle booties are an ideal way to draw attention to your legs. When choosing a shoe, maximize your footwear flair by opting for fun and flirty features. In addition to the open-toe element, details such as patent leather, animal print accents, beading, and metallics have made an appearance in this season’s top shoe selection.

3.The Purse
The clutch has established itself as the fashionable handbag for special occasions, first dates included, of course. Sleek, stylish, and compact, the clutch is available in several updated designs. For a modern take on the classic favorite, select a model with a vibrant pattern, a patent leather version, or a wristlet (ensuring your hands are free for greeting your date).

4.The Accessories
Once your main outfit has been chosen, accessorizing should be an easy fourth step. A few tips to keep in mind as you shop for jewelry: choose small hoops or studs if wearing a choker-style or layered necklace – both pieces will work in harmony to accentuate, rather than overpower each other. Using the same concept, chandelier earrings complement a long pendant or beaded chain. Adhere to this advice, and your style will look flawless and effortless. Non-jewelry accessories to consider: skinny headbands are hip, and a scarf around the neck adds a touch of glamour and romance.

5.The Undergarments
